Cualquier perro puede participar y competir en las carreras de cualquier nivel.<br \/>\nEl perro debe poder realizar actividades de alta intensidad y no debe tener lesiones ni otras patolog\u00edas. En caso de duda recomendamos realizar una revisi\u00f3n veterinaria.<br \/>\nSe debe prestar especial atenci\u00f3n con los perros molosoides o braquic\u00e9falos, con el hocico corto, que tienen dificultades respiratorias ya veces card\u00edacas y pueden tener problemas graves para realizar actividades de alta intensidad. Este tipo de perros deber\u00edan pasar siempre una revisi\u00f3n veterinaria exhaustiva antes de hacer canicr\u00f3s.<br \/>\nLa edad m\u00ednima para competir y entrenar con intensidad es de 1 a\u00f1o, o 1 a\u00f1o y medio con perros de gran tama\u00f1o, ya que hay que esperar a que se haya finalizado el crecimiento y formaci\u00f3n de articulaciones.<br \/>\nLos perros deben estar m\u00ednimamente socializados y educados para poder estar con otros perros.<br \/>\nTienen que llevar chip y estar vacunados de la rabia y la tetravalente.
